You can use this magnetic switch set to make your own clapper for use with our FDC Timecode Generator.
The switch has 24" leads and is closed by the magnet with a 5/8" operating gap. Comes in White. Datasheet here.

•One Sealed Magnetic Reed Switch

MRE Option:
•One 2-Pin Connector Header
•Two Contact Pins for Connector
M2 Option:
2mm plug connector
Includes magnetic switch with connector head and pins for your own DYI desires.
The leads on the switch is uncut so you will need to crimp the contact pins to yourself.
